If you’re a student, parent or teacher at FISD, then you know how important Canvas is. The school district has been using Canvas since 2016 to help teachers and staff deliver their lessons more efficiently. But now that Canvas is in its third year of use, some students may have forgotten how to log into the portal. That’s where we come in! Here are step-by-step instructions for logging into the Canvas portal:
Go to the Canvas portal.
To login to the Canvas portal:
- Go to the Canvas portal.
- Enter your username and password.
Enter your username and password.
To log in, you’ll need to enter your username and password. Your username is your email@example.com email address with an @fisd.org extension at the end (for example, firstname.lastname@example.org). If you don’t have one already, go to a computer in the library or print out this page and ask someone at the front desk for help setting up an education account with Canvas FISD!
Your password will be the same one that you use for other school district websites such as Clever and Gmail; our staff will never ask for it over email or phone calls. If you forget your password: no problem! Just follow these steps:
- Go to www.canvaslms-resetpasswordonline2go.herokuapp
Click “Sign in” to enter the Canvas portal.
- Click “Sign in” to enter the Canvas portal.
- Enter your username, password and click “Sign In”
- You are now signed into Canvas FISD!
You can use this process to log into a variety of other resources as well, including GoogleDrive and Clever.
In addition to Canvas, you can use the same login process to log into other resources including Google Drive, Clever, and more. All of these accounts are connected to your school district account through the Canvas portal, which is a single sign-on platform.
When you log into Canvas FISD, you’ll be able to access all of its features. You can use these same steps to log in to other resources, such as GoogleDrive and Clever. It’s easy!
